Laboratório de Educação president Beatriz Cardoso was one of twelve specialists invited to participate in a two-day event at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) which aimed to outline a research agenda for early childhood education in Brazil.
Beginning in 2011, Harvard’s Center on the Developing Child has partnered with Brazilian foundations to promote collaboration between U.S. researchers and early childhood practitioners across Brazil.
Along with Cardoso, Brazilian public university professors and representatives from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro municipal school districts discussed various challenges facing early education in the public school system.
