“Learning Language” professional development program for early childhood educators to be implemented in two cities

This August, Laboratório de Educação began implementation of its “Learning Language” professional development program for early childhood educators in two cities of São Paulo state: Caieiras and Mauá.

The program offers continued opportunities for pedagogical supervisors, principals and district leaders to reflect on their practice, and learn how to support early language development inside and outside the school contexts.

In addition, a team of researchers conducts on-site monitoring of teacher-training sessions and in-class activities in order to provide feedback and adjust strategies from a systemic perspective.
