On December 2, Brazilians will be mobilizing around the first local Giving Day (#DiadeDoar), which is part of a global movement (#GivingTuesday) devoted to promoting a culture of commitment and collaboration toward achieving important social goals.
In Brazil, sustainability and technical autonomy are currently some of the greatest challenges facing the nonprofit sector. It is also a challenge that is crucial to overcome if we are to achieve positive change in a society that is as unequal as ours.
At Laboratório de Educação, a public interest organization founded in 2012, the efforts to sustain institutional growth have been enormous and, as a result, have led to the development of projects that are promoting effective language instruction throughout public schools around the country. We invite you to engage with our cause!
We are hoping to gather a group of Associate Members that will contribute a monthly amount that they deem plausible.
