LabEdu is one of ten organizations selected by the international network of researchers J-PAL LAC and the Bracell Foundation to join the project “Strengthening children’s learning and development in preschool”. The initiative seeks to identify promising programs, implement them, assess their effectiveness, and support scalability.
In this first phase, LabEdu took part in a series of online meetings that contributed to building the theory of change for the educator training methodology Aprender Linguagem, as well as addressing aspects of structuring assessment systems and adapting programs to local contexts.
In the next stage, organizations will be selected to, in collaboration with researchers from the J-PAL network, design and carry out the program’s impact evaluation, and later apply to receive funding for implementation.
