In September, the Office of the Special Rapporteur for Freedom of Expression of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights launched the Dialogue of the Americas on Freedom of Expression on the Internet, a proposal intended to be open, multilingual, and multisectoral.
As part of the initiative, interviews were conducted to disseminate experts’ opinions and perspectives across each thematic axis. Beatriz Cardoso, president of the Education Laboratory, was one of the voices that brought Education know-how to deepen the role of Digital Literacy in the development of civic skills.
In this dialogue, she shares our experience with the project Learning to Study Texts, comments on the state of education in times of the pandemic and the educational process linked to technology.
