At the end of 2019, the Brazilian Literacy Association (Abalf) received contributions from Brazilian researchers and educators with accumulated experience in researching, formulating, and implementing public literacy policies, to reflect on “the assumptions that guide the directions and strategies being considered for the National Education Policy” of the Ministry of Education’s administration.
Members of the Education Laboratory team prepared an opinion piece that was published in the Brazilian Journal of Literacy, under the title “National policy in focus: Perspectives from researchers and teachers”.
