LabEdu attended the 3rd State Training Cycle of the Pact for Learning, promoted by the Maranhão State Department of Education. Between October 29 and November 1, educators, administrators, and specialists came together to discuss and strengthen pedagogical practices in Maranhão’s regional and municipal education networks.
Since 2019, LabEdu has implemented the project Learning: Inside and Outside School, aimed at children from birth to six years old, in partnership with Maranhão, a model for implementation of continuing education training under a collaborative arrangement between the state and municipalities in Early Childhood Education, within the context of the state’s Pact for Learning. In addition, this year saw the start of implementation in 16 municipalities in Maranhão of the project Learning to Study Texts, which includes 4th- and 5th-grade Elementary School classes. The initiatives are supported by Eneva and the Tinker Foundation, respectively.
LabEdu’s director, Andrea Guida, represented the organization at the ceremonies and also met with the state secretary of education, Jandira Dias—appointed in recent months—to follow up on the ongoing projects.
