The Jacobs Foundation has announced the ten finalists for the 2024 Klaus J. Jacobs Best Practices Prizes, an international award recognizing excellence in education. Labedu stands alongside organizations from various countries working to implement evidence-based solutions to improve child development and learning in practice. The winners will be announced at a ceremony to be held in November.
For Beatriz Cardoso, Director of Labedu, being among the finalists gives the organization’s team even more energy to continue the committed work they have been performing. “Our team is deeply moved by the recognition of being one of the finalists. This honor reflects our commitment to public education and our dedication to finding transformative, evidence-based paths in a country with immense potential and numerous learning challenges.”
