On September 30, Professor Jim Honan from Harvard University taught the current class of fellows from the Advanced Leadership Initiative (ALI) who are in the process of formulating and initially developing their social ventures. In this context, the case based on the experience of our director Beatriz Cardoso in founding the Education Laboratory was discussed.
The document was selected as a practical example of how to face the challenge of institutional funding and the articulation of partnerships to develop a new and innovative project.
“Beatriz Cardoso, founder and director of the Education Laboratory, had a dream of advancing Brazilian education. However, initial fundraising made it difficult to scale her projects, which seek to support adults in developing children’s language.
