Beatriz Cardoso, director of Labedu, and Paula Cruz, associate researcher, participated online on the morning of the 24th in a class taught by Professor Carrie Conaway at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. The Labedu representatives shared implementation experiences and promoted a reflection on fostering a learning culture within the organization.
Based on a logic that places implementation monitoring and evaluation at the backbone of educator training activities, Labedu positions learning not only as a mission but as a structural pillar of the formative process in partnership with public education systems.
Furthermore, the professor and students were able to discuss hypotheses regarding the ongoing research conducted by Paula and supervised by Carrie, which analyzes the implementation of the Aprender Linguagem project in three municipalities in Greater São Paulo between 2017 and 2019. The contributions from the meeting are part of Labedu’s collaboration with the American university, where Beatriz is also an associate. In November of last year, Carrie was in Brazil for a short course in partnership with the Harvard Brazil Office.
