On August 14, Labedu participated in the Regional Seminar on National Parameters of Quality and Equity in Early Childhood Education Northeast II, held in Salvador (BA). Promoted by the Ministry of Education (MEC), the meeting brought together representatives of public networks, managers and civil society organizations to discuss the challenges and paths for the implementation of national standards of quality and equity in early childhood education.
Beatriz Cardoso, director of Labedu, was part of the table National Parameters of Quality and Equity in the daily life of Early Childhood Education: Pedagogical Challenges, alongside Lídice Rodrigues, manager of the Criança Feliz Municipal School, and Núbia Lira, coordinator of early childhood education at the Municipal Department of Education of Aracaju. The mediation was conducted by João Luiz Dória, president of Undime/SE.
During her speech, Beatriz highlighted the importance of articulation between different actors and initiatives to ensure consistent advances at the front. "It is the sum of many initiatives that guarantees improvements at the end and helps us to ensure the rights that need to be guaranteed. It is essential to observe this sum and, at the same time, identify where advances occur most effectively, quickly and consistently. The partnership between Labedu and Seduc of Maranhão, in the context of the collaboration regime, is a successful example of this. A joint action between civil society and government in the implementation of the policy of continuing education for early childhood education. This collaboration directly contributes to the advancement of knowledge. We join efforts and learn from each other," he said.
Participation in the event marks the continuity of Labedu's involvement with regional debates on national parameters. In July, Beatriz represented the organization in the Southeast edition of the seminar, held in São Paulo, where experiences from different municipalities on the pedagogical challenges of early childhood education were shared.
