In early May, Labedu was present at the activities of the 1st Training Cycle of the Learning Pact held by the State Department of Education (Seduc) of Maranhão. The event, which brought together managers, technicians, and pedagogical teams from the networks, aimed to strengthen collaboration between the state and municipalities in promoting learning, of which Labedu is a partner with the projects Learning: Inside and Outside School and Learning to Study Texts (AET).
During the meeting, pedagogical strategies, collaboration regime goals, and coordinated actions to raise literacy and proficiency indicators in Portuguese language and mathematics in the state were addressed.
In addition to being present at the event, the Labedu team met with pedagogical coordinators to mark the beginning of training for ongoing projects in 2025.
The Learning Pact is an initiative of the Maranhão Department of Education to strengthen quality, equitable, and inclusive public education, focusing on addressing inequalities and strengthening the collaboration regime with municipalities. Since 2019, Labedu has worked in partnership with the networks, being present in all 217 municipalities with Learning and in 16 with AET.
