At an ALI event, Beatriz Cardoso and other program fellows spoke with social entrepreneur Dan Pallotta, whose TED Talk, “The way we think about charity is dead wrong”, made headlines for questioning conventional strategies for tackling large-scale social problems.
Pallotta criticized the moral restriction placed upon non-profits that limits their ability to use resources and strategies that could enhance their ability to achieve positive change.
