Our platforms address the milestones and challenges of language development that children experience from ages 0 to 10. Through websites, e-books, formative materials and a mobile app, we offer theoretical references and practical suggestions to help adults create meaningful learning environments for children through simple, intentional actions.

O Laboratório de Educação desenvolve metodologias que promovem a melhoria de práticas educativas nos sistemas públicos de ensino.

Nossas metodologias traduzem o conhecimento produzido pelo mundo acadêmico, tornando-o aplicável dentro e fora da escola. Como parte da concepção de nossas metodologias, desenhamos estratégias de formação e mobilização que ajudam educadores, formais e informais, a se apropriarem dos conhecimentos pedagógicos que precisam ser articulados na prática para que ofereçam contextos significativos de aprendizagem a todas as crianças com as quais atuam.

Sabendo que o desenvolvimento da linguagem é crucial durante a Primeira Infância, nossa metodologia de formação de gestores, coordenadores e professores de redes públicas de Educação Infantil colabora para que todas as crianças de 0 a 5 anos sejam capazes de usar a linguagem para se comunicar, pensar e aprender ao longo da vida.

Nossa metodologia de formação de professores de 4º e 5º ano do Ensino Fundamental contribui para que todos os alunos desenvolvam a capacidade de ler e compreender textos, adquirindo ferramentas para aprender a pensar, analisar, interpretar, formar opinião, dialogar e transitar livremente pelo mundo do conhecimento.

How we act

At school

Our projects seek to provide educators with continued opportunities to reflect on their practice, articulating their unique professional role with a systemic perspective.

We introduce professional development strategies that take real classroom challenges as the starting point to theorize and construct educational knowledge. Our solutions focus on teachers, pedagogical supervisors, principals and district leaders who serve in Brazilian public school districts.  

Outside of School

Our projects aim to establish collaborative networks with nonprofit organizations that indirectly reach children outside the school context.

We create structured formative materials that enable professionals from various fields (e.g. health, social work, housing, etc.) to incorporate pedagogical knowledge into their practice in order to promote meaningful interactions among the families they serve.

Monitoring and Evaluation

Our role as professional development specialists requires that we collect and analyze data on the backgrounds, knowledge, and practices of the adults we educate inside and outside of school. Thus, we closely monitor the implementation of our projects, in order to understand, document, and determine courses of action based on the ongoing learning process experienced by both individual agents and their institutions.  

Our projects feature comprehensive monitoring plans based on specific logical frameworks. In order to capture the diverse perspectives of stakeholders in the education system, we employ a variety of data collection strategies, including questionnaires, interviews, focus groups, and structured observation. These methods allow our team to devise interventions that target each actor's needs and facilitate the incorporation of new concepts into everyday practice.
