On September 24, Paula Stella will participate in Educação 360, an event that gathers thousands of Brazilian scholars and practitioners to present research, discuss their experience, and reflect on the most pressing educational challenges facing the country.
The "Learning Language" coordinators will speak at a roundtable discussion on program management, and present the results of an in-service professional development intervention conducted in 2016 with nursery and pre-school supervisors of Greater São Paulo.
The bimonthly training sessions are based on a printed material with theoretical content on language development and strategies that pedagogical supervisors can use to plan and analyze in-class learning opportunities with teachers. This manual is founded on the Learning Language platform, and provides detailed guidelines for teacher-training sessions and classroom activities.
