During the 9th edition of the global Women’s Forum, Beatriz Cardoso discussed how educational initiatives can mediate learning through competition and collaboration.
In a roundtable discussion with Selene Biffi (founder of Plain Ink) and Divina Frau‐Meigs (University of Paris – Sorbonne), Cardoso addressed sociocultural factors that encourage competitive or cooperative attitudes, while drawing on her research from Destino: Educação, a documentary that portrays the everyday realities of classrooms, schools, and communities in top PISA-scoring countries.
