Laboratório de Educação president, Beatriz Cardoso, reflected on the role of education in developing real citizenship, through autonomy and freedom. In the latest edition of the educational magazine Pátio – Ensino Fundamental, Cardoso argued that students’ relationship to knowledge can become a transformational element in their growth as individuals and as members of society.
