On August 19, Instituto Doar gathered civil society leaders in São Paulo to present the “Doar Stamp”, a certificate of transparency in administrative and financial management whose goal is to promote common standards of governance, sustainability and ethics for the non-profit sector. Using criteria adopted by national organizations, such as the Group of Institutes, Foundations and Businesses (GIFE), Instituto Doar seeks to promote, legitimize and publically recognize the professionalism and transparency of non-profit organizations, advancing a more responsible and informed philanthropic culture in Brazil.
