On August 26, Laboratório de Educação will host a seminar to present the results of an 18-month study on the implementation of PNAIC, an in-service training program for literacy instructors launched by the Brazilian Ministry of Education in 2013. Representatives from the four municipal districts that participated in the study will hear from our project coordinator and receive a brief publication with the instruments that were used for the monitoring sections of the research.
Scheduled from 2-5pm at Laboratório de Educação facilities, the seminar will bring together nearly 25 stakeholders: Education Secretaries, Municipal PNAIC Coordinators, School Principals and Pedagogical Supervisors from the participating municipalities.
