Laboratório de Educação is the subject of a Harvard Business School case study to be included in a series of publications on the professional challenges and experiences of Advanced Leadership Initiative (ALI) fellows. ALI is an interdisciplinary and collaborative program that aims to support experienced global leaders in developing innovative solutions to significant social problems. Beatriz Cardoso was a member of the 2013-2014 cohort.
The 14-page paper describes Cardoso’s professional trajectory before and after founding Laboratório de Educação, Brazilian social and economic considerations at the time, as well as the organization’s achievements, challenges, and future plans.
These case studies are used to guide class discussions with graduate students at Harvard Business School.
