On May 8-9, the Federal Universities of Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro, in partnership with the Brazilian Ministry of Education, held the first international seminar on literature and pre-school education, with the aim of advancing theoretical discussions on early literacy instruction. Educational experts, including Beatriz Cardoso and Angélica Sepúlveda, analyzed pedagogical practices that promote early reading and writing skills.
