Beatriz Cardoso presents research work at George Washington University Brazil Symposium

On Friday, March 27, the Elliott School of International Affairs’ Brazil Initiative hosted a symposium titled “Brazil and Development: Growth, Equity and Sustainability into the 21st Century”. The event examined the economic and social challenges facing Brazil, as well as the policy options available to President Rousseff as she begins her second term with a “sluggish economy and increasing calls for significant political and structural reform”.

Beatriz Cardoso, Executive Director of Laboratório de Educação, presented the research conducted in partnership with UNESCO in a panel focused on issues of “Social Inclusion and Development”.
