Educação 360 is an annual event organized by newspapers O Globo and Extra, bringing together key stakeholders in Brazilian education to conceive strategies for better teaching and learning.
The first edition of Educação 360 was held in 2014 and included thousands of educators, school administrators, parents, NGOs, community members, and figures from the world of government and business in a discussion about successful initiatives that have effected positive change in education, both domestically and internationally.
On September 11-12, the 2015 event will gather 4,000 on-site participants and reach tens of thousands of viewers through television and the Internet.
Beatriz Cardoso, Executive Director of Laboratório de Educação, will be speaking at a round-table debate about teacher training in Brazil, along with USP researcher Paula Louzano.
