On May 12, Sandra Medrano led a discussion for “A Taba”, an online network of children’s literature experts, teachers, parents, librarians, and storytellers that seek to foster a community of readers who share the enjoyment of the literate world. The talk was followed by more than 500 participants and described the possibilities that the new “picture books” open up for literacy development.
